We work at the intersection of technology, organisation and people. Loft Insight was founded by Lisbeth Loft and builds on many years of work with information security, research and consultancy in complex organisations.

From research to practice
My professional background is not entirely conventional for information security. I hold two PhD degrees and a research background spanning complex data and statistical models to sociology, behaviour and social inequality – with research and work in an international context.
Today I apply that background to information security, governance and risk management. I am committed to evidence and to understanding what is actually happening before we decide what should be done.
Sometimes that calls for data and analysis. Other times for conversations with the people in the organisation. Often both.
An international perspective
A large part of my adult life has been international. I have lived, worked and travelled abroad, and have experience of working across countries and cultures.
I also work as an expert for the EU, among other things evaluating European research and innovation projects.
The international perspective is about understanding that organisations work differently – and that solutions must always be seen in the context in which they are to function.
Loft Insight is not alone
When a task requires other or complementary competencies, we work with specialists we know and trust.
This makes it possible to assemble the expertise that fits the task.
